Lantern Legacy Media develops original stories, interactive worlds, immersive technologies, and digital experiences designed to endure.
From grounded science-fiction worlds to intent-driven immersive computing, we combine storytelling, technology, craftsmanship, and original intellectual property to build experiences meant to outlive the moment.
Lantern Legacy Media is an independent American entertainment and technology company developing original narrative properties, interactive experiences, immersive systems, and digital creative services. We're built around a disciplined long-term approach: create original worlds, prove their value, protect the underlying intellectual property, and expand successful ideas deliberately.
"Carry the Light. Build the Legacy."
A portfolio of narrative and interactive properties designed to grow from focused creative work into larger franchises and platforms.
Lantern Legacy Media provides professional digital and visual services to businesses, entrepreneurs, creators, and organizations seeking a stronger identity and online presence.
Modern, responsive websites built around the identity and goals of each client — not just information online, but a site that communicates who you are, what you offer, and why visitors should trust you.
AI features are an add-on, never a requirement. If they suit your goals, we can scope options such as an on-site assistant, smarter search, or content-drafting tools. Your website works fully without them, and any AI feature is discussed, scoped, and disclosed before it is built.
A strong logo should communicate something about your organization before a customer reads a single word. We design marks built around what a business does and how it wants to be remembered.
Reality has a frequency. Samuel Renner is learning how to break it.
A cinematic open-world science-fiction action franchise built on one premise: reality behaves like a resonant system, and a small number of people can learn to change how matter, energy, consciousness, and dimensional boundaries interact within it. It begins at street level in Blackwood Crossing, Missouri, an aging industrial city where reality is starting to fail.
NULLRES comes from Null Resonance: an exceptionally rare state in which competing resonant structures enter such precise destructive opposition that their coupling to the surrounding field collapses toward zero. Nothing disappears and no energy vanishes. The relationship between an object and local reality is temporarily disrupted.
"Reality is not simply something that exists. It is something constantly being maintained in resonance."
The premise behind every power, enemy, and realm in NULLRES.
A system in this state may move impossibly fast, ignore barriers it would normally couple with, destabilize nearby matter, or touch dimensional layers that are normally out of reach. Samuel may not be violating the laws of reality. He may be exposing laws the Phase Corps has never fully understood.
Every living organism has a fundamental resonant signature that works as its physical identity. It cannot be replaced without destroying or rebuilding the system that produced it.
Trained individuals manipulate operating bands around their core signature, changing how they interact with matter and energy without rewriting who they are.
The strength of a resonant state: power, defense, range, and endurance. For most people biology sets a practical ceiling. Samuel's appears to move.
Relative alignment decides whether systems reinforce, cancel, align, or pass through one another.
Structural incompatibility: destructive interference within an organism, between an organism and its environment, or across a dimensional boundary.
Under enough resonant stress, the boundaries between realms deform and tear. A fissure is a physical failure of dimensional coupling, not a generic fantasy portal.
Part of the NULLRES fictional universe, not a presentation of real-world physics.
A working industrial city shaped by river systems, rail infrastructure, manufacturing history, and older utility networks. The setting is grounded on purpose: the extraordinary hits harder when it intrudes on a place that feels physically and economically real.

Dilapidated brick storefronts, closed mills, rusted auto shops, aging utilities, and rail infrastructure mark years of economic decline.
Limestone, groundwater, rail, and aging 60 Hz power systems don't create portals. They amplify deeper instability, so the city behaves like an enormous resonant cavity.
Early anomalies pass as failing infrastructure, industrial vibration, grid problems, or local folklore. As disturbances grow, the mundane explanations stop being enough.
Age 19 · Blackwood Crossing, Missouri
Samuel enters the story without military status, ancient training, or any explanation for why reality reacts to him differently. He lives with his aging grandmother and twelve-year-old younger brother, and he is the protector of what remains of his family. His ordinary starting point is deliberate: his transformation is the story.
He survives a dissonant resonant event that should have been fatal. His abilities emerge during the crisis itself, not after death, and his perception expands to the resonant structure beneath matter and space. His raw potential arrives long before the training to understand it.
Most Wardens improve by refining a fixed capacity. After extreme stress, Samuel's nervous system and resonant field can reorganize around loads that were once intolerable. Each leap carries a cost: injury, exhaustion, and sensory overload.
"The question is no longer how powerful Samuel can become. It is how much of himself can change before he stops being Samuel."
Each realm expresses the same physics under radically different environmental conditions.
Baseline human reality. Industrial realism, hidden fissures, and ordinary life under escalating instability. Blackwood Crossing is the franchise's first major location.
The Elevenfold Citadel: a stabilized dimensional civilization and seat of the Phase Corps. Ancient, monumental architecture spreads across a broad connected plane beneath ultraviolet auroras.
Reality under structural failure. Stable usable energy is hard to keep, so energy acquisition drives an ecosystem of cosmic hunger.
An ancient regulatory and military organization that preserves stability across inhabited realities. It is part army, intelligence service, regulator, archive, and containment authority, organized into eleven operational Units with Basileus (Unit Zero) above them. Protector and gatekeeper, it carries real responsibilities alongside secrecy and internal disagreement.
Not one species but a category: organisms whose resonant structure is incompatible with the environment they occupy. Some are mindless predators, some are intelligent. Small ones slip through minor fissures; a giant in the Living Realm means a catastrophic breach nearby.
Behind the widening conflict stands an ancient intelligence whose history reaches into the foundations of the Phase Corps. It questions whether the boundaries between realities should continue to exist in their current form.
Blackwood Crossing supports street-level and rooftop travel, rail corridors, alleys, and industrial shortcuts, so players learn the city as a place instead of using instant fast travel. Roaming Dissonants appear naturally: approach, engage, avoid, or escape. Danger is communicated through the environment rather than constant menus.
Short-burst extreme movement without literal teleportation, used for dodging, gap-closing, rooftop traversal, and attack chains.
Perception of resonant information beyond sight and hearing, delivered through sound, vibration, and visual distortion rather than a scanner HUD.
Temporary structural stabilization of the body, allowing survival of impacts and falls that would normally be fatal. It costs energy and can fail.
Defense by cancellation, not a generic shield: a controlled opposing waveform that weakens, redirects, or disperses incoming energy.
Attacks coupled to a target's local structural vibration, breaking armor and damaging entities that only partly obey ordinary material rules.
Targeted interference against another fighter's active technique. Reading an enemy matters as much as damage.
Samuel's high-risk equalizer: a localized field that collapses resonant techniques, including his own, to force a more even fight.
Samuel can create deliberate passages between realms. They are keyed to him, and later he can attune a companion for limited travel.
Samuel closes natural Brane-Fissures by finding the resonant mismatch that sustains the tear. Large fissures can take combat and action on both sides.
Combat is fast but still has weight: buildings break, metal bends, concrete fractures, and terrain constrains movement. Progression means better understanding of Samuel's own resonance, not a hidden number going up. Side missions across all three realms add equipment, ability refinement, lore, and hidden locations without rewriting the central story, and recovery from catastrophic injury always carries a cost.
Transcend the Screen.
The interface should disappear. PhainoVR is an intent-driven immersive computing ecosystem built around a different relationship between people and digital environments — instead of operating a virtual world from outside it, the user acts inside it.
Voice, gesture, movement, and spatial context are observed.
Intent-processing infers what the user is trying to accomplish.
The environment expresses the action — an object changes, a portal opens.
The world gives diegetic feedback and keeps responding.
Information and controls live in the environment, not floating menus.
Users communicate goals naturally; the system handles the translation.
Systems should avoid unnecessarily pulling users out of the world.
World-building feels like shaping matter and space, not a desktop editor in VR.
The environment responds coherently to user behavior.
Virtual and augmented experiences share the same underlying philosophy.
Construct, inhabit, and explore environments — shaping architecture and spatial compositions while remaining inside the immersive experience.
Extends digital structures and reactive systems into real environments, blending physical geography with movement-driven digital experiences.
Concept & development — research & development. Not all depicted capabilities are currently implemented.
